Lesson 42 of 56

Tribal Circuitry: Support, Bargain, and the Group

Tribal Circuitry governs the mechanics of support and survival of the group. The Ego Circuit (Support Circuit) channels include the fundamental bargains of human community: work for resources, love for loyalty, care for protection. Examples: Channel 51-25 (the Channel of Initiation — the shock of the new; initiating others into experience), Channel 54-32 (the Channel of Transformation — ambition in service of the tribe). The Defense Circuit protects and preserves the tribe's physical survival. Example: Channel 50-27 (the Channel of Preservation — the drive to care for others and preserve what has value). Tribal energy is not altruistic — it operates on exchange. "I will support you IF you will support me." This is not a flaw; it is the mechanics of how communities have survived throughout human history.
