Hanging Gates: The Seeking Principle

A hanging Gate (also called a dangling Gate) is a Gate that is activated in your chart but whose opposite Gate — on the other end of the Channel — is NOT activated. This incomplete Channel represents the potential for definition that you do not carry internally. You are unconsciously attracted to people who carry the other side of your hanging Gates. This is the electromagnetic principle. When that person is in your field, the Channel completes, a Center gets defined, and you feel something profound — a sense of completion, resonance, or recognition. Many of the most powerful attractions in human relationships are electromagnetic. Knowing your hanging Gates helps you understand why certain people feel so essential — and whether the electromagnetic bridge is healthy or conditioning.
